The Formula 1 fans in India will have to wait one more year as the first Indian Grand Prix has been put back a year to 2011 Bernie Ecclestone has told reporters in Singapore.
If all goes according to plan the construction on a new circuit near Delhi will start at the end of October and should be finished in time for the start of the 2010 Formula 1 season. But Ecclestone is believed not to take any risk and schedules the Grand Prix for the year after. "2011 is what I want," Ecclestone was quoted by the BBC.
